A new campus in the Ivory Coast.

ESIGELEC has just launched a Master of Science in Mechatronics and Electrical Engineering in Yamoussoukro, Ivory Coast.

The Ivory Coast has invested more than 10 billion euros in order meet its objectives in the electricity sector by 2030 (production of 4,500 MW, 100% rate of coverage and access to electricity, 42% of renewable energy). In order to build new infrastructure, operate, maintain and test existing infrastructure, high-level experts must be trained.

In keeping with its reputation as an internationally recognised training provider, ESIGELEC, in partnership with the Félix HOUPHOUËT-BOIGNY National Polytechnic Institute of Yamoussoukro, has launched a Master of Science in Mechatronics and Electrical Engineering. The program aims to equip engineers to work with complex systems that combine mechanics, electronics, electricity, control and industrial IT to manage, maintain and secure large electrical engineering infrastructure (dams, production plants, industrial production units, etc.).

This 2-year program, accredited by the Conference of Grandes Ecoles (CGE), is open to individuals with a 3 year Bachelor’s degree, in the fields of Mechatronics, electrical engineering and industrial automation. The first batch will be made up of around ten students were welcomed at the Back-to-school ceremony on September 15, 2023 at the Institut National Polytechnique Félix HOUPHOUËT-BOIGNY in Yamoussoukro, in the Ivory Coast in the presence of Etienne Craye, General Director of ESIGELEC, Cyril Marteaux, Director of Training and International and Jean-Paterne Kouadio, Head of the Master of Science in Mechatronics and Electrical Engineering.
