CHECK THE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Academic requirements – Check the "Eligibility" section of the program of your choice.

Language requirements – check if the language of the program you wish to apply for, is English or French.

Remember

  • For degree-awarding programs, your English language proficiency will be evaluated on the basis of the self-recorded / virtual admission interview.
  • For Exchange Programs you will need to provide an official test score in English or French, depending on the language of instruction of the program of your choice. If you do not have an official test score, your university can issue a certificate, stating that you have the requisite language proficiency level.
  • Even if you are interested in an English-taught program, we encourage to learn basic French, in order to get the best of your experience in France.

COLLECT REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

To avoid delays in processing your application, collect a complete set of supporting document scans (less than 300KB) including:

  • Passport
  • Updated CV
  • Statement of Purpose
  • Academic transcripts / Mark sheets / Degree Certificates. We encourage you to provide this information semester-wise, if possible.
  • Letter of Reference
  • English / French Language Proficiency Certificate. If you do not have an official test score, your university can issue a certificate, stating that you have the B1 level.

  • The data you enter in the online application, including the contents of all attachments, is subject to verification. It is your responsibility to ensure that all the information provided in the application is accurate.

On ESIGELEC ONESTOP, through a simple, straight forward process, we’ll take you from Apply to Arrive on this portal.

Once you start your application, remember to check your email regularly, for notifications from our Admissions Office or our International Relations Office. You will receive notifications about your admission status and later on, about accommodation, airport pick up, orientation days and other related information.

/After you Apply

Here is what you can expect after you submit your application:

  • If your application is complete our Admissions Team will review your file and you will receive an answer within a week. This timeline is different if you are applying for an Exchange Programme.
  • If you have been granted admission, you will receive a Letter of Conditional Admission, via ESIGELEC ONESTOP. This document will carry information on tuition fees and scholarships that you have been offered. It will also carry information on any academic conditions that you may need to fulfill. 
  • To accept this offer of admission, an initial deposit (mentioned in the Letter of Conditional Admission) must be paid via bank transfer only. The letter will indicate two deadlines. If you wish to receive the Early Bird scholarship of 1,000 € (one thousand Euros), you must transfer the deposit amount before the first date.
  • To decline the offer of admission, we encourage you to keep us informed by selecting the option "Decline".
  • You will receive a notification once our Accounts Office receives the initial deposit and very soon thereafter, the Letter of Final Admission and an Accommodation Certificate.
  • If your application is incomplete, you will receive an email indicating what you will need to do, to complete it, thereafter, the process will be the same as above.
  • If you meet all admission requirements but if your self-recorded interview is not satisfactory, a second interview will be scheduled virtually.

Returning To Your Application

ESIGELEC reserves the right to investigate the authenticity, accuracy, and authorship of documents uploaded and of information provided in the application. ESIGELEC further reserves the right to request additional information about any matter relating to your application for admission

ESIGELEC reserves the right to withdraw an offer of admission if:

- You show a significant drop in academic performance or fail to graduate (for students who have been granted admission before completing the qualifying degree).
- There has been a misrepresentation in or breach of the terms of your application.

A GRE score is not mandatory. However, if you do have a GRE score of 300> you will be eligible for the GRE AWARD of 2,500 Euros, if you are granted admission.

DEGREE-AWARDING PROGRAMMES

- English language requirements if you are applying for a programme taught in English:

If the medium of instruction of the last three years of study is English, you will NOT be required to submit English language test scores.

For all other applicants the accepted scores are the following:
IELTS Academic - 6 / PBT TOEFL – 550 / iBT TOEFL – 79 / Pearson Test of English (Academic) – 58 / Cambridge English: Advanced - 176

- French language requirements if you are applying for a programme taught in French:

If the medium of instruction of the last three years of study is French, you will NOT be required to submit English language test scores.

For all other applicants:

Level B1

EXCHANGE PROGRAMMES

- English language requirements, if you are applying for a programme taught in English:

If the medium of instruction of the last three years of study is English, you will NOT be required to submit English language test scores, if not you will need an attestation from English language department of your home university, stating that you have a level B1.

- French language requirements, if you are applying for a programme taught in French:

If the medium of instruction of the last three years of study is French, you will NOT be required to submit French language test scores. All other students must obtain a level DELF B1 (or equivalent) in French as a foreign language and upload the certificate, before the start of the exchange semester.

Name the documents clearly.

Accepted formats are PDF & JPEG and all documents must be of less than 300 KB.

If you are a still studying or a fresh graduate, a faculty member at your university can provide this recommendation. If you have work experience, you can request a recommendation from a team leader or a manager.

Your Statement of Purpose must highlight your reasons for choosing to study in France and for applying to the proposed program at ESIGELEC. You must also talk about your future career plans and other aspects of your background and interests that will help the admission committee evaluate your application. The SOP is also the document in which you can highlight any information that you did not manage to add in your CV.

You will be notified in a week to ten days after you submit the application and if your application is complete.

All payment information will be provided in the Letter of Conditional Admission.

Yes, you will have to choose "Both" in "Programme choices".

The self-recorded video interview* on ESIGELEC ONESTOP has become a part of the application process, in order to make the experience as seamless as possible. It also offers greater flexibility to the applicant who can choose to record this interview at his / her convenience. Since we have integrated this section into the online application, we observe that students are far more relaxed and are able to give us very important insights into their background and their motivation levels. We do hope you will enjoy this too!

Remember: If our Admissions team needs additional information, you may be contacted for a second virtual interview over Teams or Zoom.
