If you are studying at a higher education institution (HEI) that has an agreement of cooperation with ESIGELEC for student exchanges (Erasmus+ inter-institutional agreement, bilateral agreement, etc.), you can apply for an exchange program at ESIGELEC.

Contact your international relations office

Start planning your exchange at ESIGELEC well in advance. For any quesitons you may have, feel free to reach us at international@esigelec.fr, making sure to add Exchange program query in the subject line of your email.
The International Relations Office or the Exchange Program Coordinator at your university will also be able to give you all the information you need.

Get nominated by your home university

You must first apply for the exchange program at your university. 
If your application is accepted, your home institution must nominate* you. 

*Nomination does not imply admission at ESIGELEC.

/How To Get Nominated By Your University?

If you are interested in an Exchange Program at ESIGELEC, contact the International Relations Office in your university. If you meet your university's requirements (this may may vary from one university to another) and if your application is accepted, your  university must nominate* you for the exchange program. Typically, the nomination list that your university will send ESIGELEC, will include the following information:

  • Your name (as in your passport / ID document)
  • E-mail
  • Your field of study
  • Level of studies
  • Dates and duration of the proposed exchange period at ESIGELEC

*Note: Being nominated by your university does NOT imply that you will be automatically granted admission to ESIGELEC. You must also apply to ESIGELEC (Read below).

 

Nomination deadlines*:

  • 15th April: For the exchange period between September and January OR one academic year September toMay / June / July (depending on the course of study).
  • 15th October: For the exchange period between February and May / June / July (depending on the course of study).
*The nomination deadline is different from the application deadline.

ESIGELEC accepts documents in French or in English. If your documents are in another language, then you must provide a translation in French or in English.

ESIGELEC ONESTOP is our online application portal. We will take you from Apply to Arrive in one single portal, including Housing & Airport pickup. All you have to do is:- Create an account

- Enter all the information
- Get your online learning agreement approved

Application deadlines

 

30th April : For the exchange semester between September and January OR for one academic year, September to May / June / July (depending on the program of your choice).

31st October : For the exchange period between February and May / June / July (depending on the program of your choice).

 

/The learning agreement & Supporting documents

The learning agreement is the single-most important document for an exchange program. We encourage you to go through it carefully.

ABOUT  THE STUDY PLAN

Applicants whose universities have an Erasmus+ agreement with ESIGELEC must provide the Study Plan at the time of applying but must also provide the EWP digital learning agreement once their universities make it available to them. 

 

Apart from the learning agreement, you will also need a few other application documents, which ESIGELEC will accept in English or French only. If your documents are in another language, please provide the original, along with a translation in French or in English. The documents you will need are:

  • An ID document (passport or EU identity document for applicants from the EU)
  • Updated CV
  • Statement of purpose
  • Academic transcripts 
  • Nomination from your institution
  • Language proficiency: minimum B1 level in the common European framework of reference for languages, if you do not have an official test score, you can ask your university to issue a certificate stating that you have the requisite level.

/Getting Accepted By ESIGELEC

Application review

An admission committee will review and evaluate all aspects of your application, including your academic records and your language proficiency.
You will hear back from ESIGELEC approximately two or three weeks after the application deadline.

If your application is successful, you will receive your admission documents

You will receive notifications at every stage. Check your email regularly.

All admission related documents will also be downloadable from your on ESIGELEC ONESTOP.

To accept the offer of admission

If your application is successful, you will receive all the relevant documents, including the offer of admission. To accept this offer, please send a confirmation email to international@esigelec.fr.
