Overview:

The exchange program gives you  the opportunity to experience a different education system. As you discover a new country, you will also gain new insights in science and technology, you will learn a new language (even if your program is English-taught) and adapt to a different culture, all highly valued by future employers. 

The exchange period can be of one academic semester (minumum) or of  one academic year (maximum) and exchange students are exempted from tuitions fees at ESIGELEC.

Overview

 

At the end of the exchange program, your university must accept the credits and grades you earn at ESIGELEC, as agreed in the learning agreement signed before the exchange period and as per the European Credit Transfer Systems (ECTS) or an equivalent system.

The Erasmus+ program is an initiative run by the European Union (EU). It provides opportunities for students to study in a different European country while completing a degree.

EXCHANGE PROGRAMS – COURSES OFFERED

You can choose to study one or two semesters in one of the two following areas of engineering:

  • Software Engineering & Digital Transformation: is a blend of information systems and a small component of management and will help you develop expertise in key areas driving technological growth.
  • Electronic Embedded Systems: is a practically oriented, advanced training, that will give you an in-depth understanding of essential embedded technologies, current tools and trends.

 

  • Software engineering & Digital transformation: Advanced computer science, Business analysis, Project management, Business intelligence, Cloud computing, Big data, Artificial intelligence, etc.
  • Electronic Embedded Systems: Computer science, Electronics, Systems control, Digital systems, Embedded software, Instrumentation, Project management, etc.

 

 

You must be enrolled in a Higher Education Institution that has signed an agreement of cooperation with ESIGELEC for student exchanges such as the Erasmus+ inter-institutional agreement or a bilateral agreement.
 

Academic requirement :
You must:

- be enrolled in a study program in your univeristy that leads to a recognised degree, in a field related to the one you are interested in apply for at ESIGELEC.
- have completed 6 semesters of higher education in your university, when you begin the exchange program at ESIGELEC.
 

English language proficiency 
B1. If you do not have an official test score, your university can issue a certificate, stating that you have the requisite level.

You can choose to study one or two semesters in the common curriculum taught (Semesters S5 to S7 of the engineering program), or one of the following majors (semesters S8 and S9 of the engineering program):

  • Network and IoT cybersecurity (CERT)
  • Big data for digital transformation (BDTN)
  • Business engineering : IT and networks (IA-IR)
  • Digital services engineering (ISN)
  • Financial engineering (IF)
  • Automatic and industrial robotics (ARI)
  • Energy and sustainable development (EDD)
  • Electrical engineering and transport (GET)
  • Business engineering : Energy and signals (IA-DES)
  • Mechatronics and electrical engineering (MCTGE)
  • Embedded systems engineering : autonomous vehicle (ISE-VA)
  • Embedded systems engineering : communicating objects (ISE-OC)
  • Medical systems engineering (ISYMED)
  • Electronic systems for automotive and aerospace engineering (ESAA)
  • Telecommunications engineering (ICOM)

 

  • Common curriculum (semesters S5 to S7): electronics, programming with Java, fundamentals for engineering, language and communication skills, energy conversion, LiFi communication, software development, IT, embedded systems, etc. The information is available in French, which is the language of instruction for common curriculum.Know more
